July 2026: Priya took the stage at ICMI 2026 in Montreal to present our recent work on mucosal B cells responses in the aged. Always inspiring to exchange ideas with colleagues from around the world!
May 2026: Farewell and huge congratulations to North! The lab gathered to send off North as he heads off to start his PhD in Immunology at the University of Alabama. We’ll miss having him in the lab, but we can’t wait to see all the amazing things he accomplishes!
Apr 2026: The Devarajan Lab took on AAI in Boston! From road trips and ferry rides to walking the Freedom Trail and exploring local spots, we had the best time together. Priya chaired the respiratory immunology session, and our trainees were front and center at the mics asking questions across sessions. Science, great food, and so much fun!
Apr 2026: Priya spent a wonderful few days at the University of New Mexico as the invited student-nominated speaker for their Department of Biology Research Days! It was super fun connecting with the vibrant UNM community, speaking at the event, learning about fascinating work in evolutionary immunology, and catching up with great colleagues and students over dinners and museum tours.
Celebrating Spring 2026 Successes : Wendolaine’s first 1st author paper is out (from her PhD), Huzaifa passes his proposal defense and is now officially a PhD “candidate” & North gets into one of his favorite PhD programs!
